Notocactus x subluteus is a superb hybrid between the yellow-flowered Notocactus submammulosus var. turecekianus and the pink Notocactus roseoluteus. The shiny peach colored flowers are so large and numerous that they hide the round body of the cactus. Painted from a specimen found at Juniper Level Botanic Garden in Raleigh, NC.
